What is Neural Manipulation?

Neural means “nerves”.  This painless practice identifies local nerve restrictions and fixations while examining their effects on the rest of the body.  Treatment is comprised of precise, gentle engagement, mobilization and elongation of the soft tissues and, most specifically, freeing up the nerves.  A nerve that can move is a happy nerve.  When injury, compression, misalignment, and stuck tissues occur, nerves can sometimes get trapped or impinged, causing pain.  Releasing the tissue and allowing the nerve its full natural movement allows for healing and increased freedom of movement. Feel free to ask your therapist any questions you may have about this process.
